In Barbados, rum is far more than just another spirit. Known as the original rum island, it is where rum was first created around 400 years ago.

Centuries of craftsmanship have gone into perfecting the art of distilling and blending the island’s most celebrated export. At Bumbu Rum Company, our rums are handcrafted using a blend of sugarcane sourced from eight countries across the West Indies and South America.

Our rum is matured for up to 15 years to achieve exceptional balance and smoothness, without losing the richness and complexity that define our Barbados distillery’s character. While we are naturally proud of our heritage, we believe our rum is among the finest in the world.

Bumbu Rum Company was also awarded a Gold Medal at the 2018 Melbourne International Spirits Competition.
