Efes is the number one selling lager in Turkey and is exported to more than 40 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, the USA and Japan. Efes Pilsener has become synonymous with beer in Turkey, holding nearly an 80% share of the domestic market. It is brewed using a bottom fermentation technique with pils type golden barley, high quality malt and Hallertau hops.
Efes Pilsener pours a rich, honey gold colour, crystal clear with a steady stream of sparkling bubbles rising to form a wispy head of white foam. It has been synonymous with beer in Turkey since it was launched in 1969.
