Since the eighteenth century, the great American rivers carried fine oak casks filled with Bourbon down to New Orleans. These casks were used only once, their aromas and flavours released swiftly, which made them exceptional vessels for ageing single malt whisky and rum.

World acclaimed cigar specialists, Davidoff of Geneva, pioneered a unique method of ageing and fermenting carefully selected tobacco leaves in these fine oak Bourbon casks.

In collaboration with Davidoff of Geneva, we have reused these casks to impart exquisite character to our second rum release. We are proud to present a true first in the history of rum production.
