A sticky, plummy, homemade fruit cake in a glass, the Lark Brandy & PX Sherry Cask Finish Limited Release evokes nostalgic memories of a winter afternoon with a cup of tea, while remaining exciting with every sip.

A carefully selected parcel of bourbon, sherry and white oak casks from Lark Distilling Co.’s Bothwell distillery were married together before being finished in equal parts ex Seppeltsfield PX sherry casks and the distillery’s own ex Lark brandy casks. The result is a dark, brooding single malt whisky that delivers the decadent flavours of a traditional winter fruit cake, filled with forest fruits and bright citrus peel.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich winter fruit cake packed with citrus peel, forest fruits, dark cherry and vibrant Tasmanian brandy top notes, all wrapped in a toasted oak character.

Palate: Dark and brooding, this whisky carries intense plum pudding richness, deep oak, blackberry and dried fruit flavours, with a gentle hint of smoke.

Finish: Long, deep and thoroughly satisfying.
