Mezcal the Seven Mysteries Doba Yej 700ml

Siete Misterios Doba-Yej is made using agave Espadín.

Doba-Yej is the Zapotec term for agave Espadín, and this name was chosen because this mezcal differs from the Siete Misterios Espadín expression. It is the first Siete Misterios release to be produced using a copper still, rather than the clay pot stills used for the brand’s other mezcals. The agave is milled using a horse drawn tahona instead of by hand, which is the traditional method used for other Siete Misterios mezcal.

In keeping with the Siete Misterios tradition, each batch is produced by a different mezcalero. Depending on the batch, your bottle of Siete Misterios Doba-Yej may originate from either Santiago Matatlán or San Luis del Río, so please check the label for production details.
