Midleton Distillery Barry Crockett Legacy is a tribute to the man who is closely associated with the distillery’s heritage and who has played a significant role in shaping the renowned Midleton style. This expression displays the distinctive complexity of single pot still whiskey, while remaining refined, elegant and poised on the finish.
Named in honour of the celebrated second generation Midleton Master Distiller, this single pot still whiskey is matured exclusively in first fill ex bourbon barrels, with a small portion aged in virgin American oak to enhance character and depth. It is the first permanent expression to carry the Midleton name.
With an annual release of approximately 2,500 bottles, this highly sought after whiskey has received more than 30 prestigious awards to date. In 2016, it was named the Best Irish Blended Pot Still Whiskey at the Irish Whiskey Awards.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
