Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila is produced in the picturesque Los Altos region, which is situated 2,100 metres above sea level and is known for its mineral rich volcanic red earth, locally called tierra roja, along with a unique microclimate. These conditions help support the cultivation of high quality blue agave, which Olmeca Altos uses to produce its award winning tequila. A slow and carefully managed production process results in a smooth tequila with refreshing citrus flavours.
