Whisky Background

Produced by Radico Khaitan Ltd. at the historic Rampur Distillery, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, a region whose climatic extremes impart distinctive depth and complexity to the whisky. It is bottled at cask strength, approximately 55.8% ABV, and carefully finished in select Madeira casks to create a bold, opulent character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vibrant floral and citrus aromas layered with tropical fruits, lychee, mango, peach and apricot, complemented by notes of caramelised pineapple, roasted pecan, shortbread and warming cinnamon spice.

Palate: Opens with creamy vanilla, developing into rich layers of plum, dates and dark chocolate, supported by dried fruits and gentle spice.

The Madeira cask finish adds complexity and balance, resulting in an expression that is both bold and refined.
