As noted by Bill Lark, the use of 200 year old oak, highly sought after and reserved for exceptional whiskies, marks a proud moment where Lark single malt is harmoniously expressed alongside Mizunara maturation.

According to Chris Thomson, it took four years, since the 2021 release, to secure these extraordinarily rare casks. The barrels are highly prized, offering a truly unique whisky experience, described as elegant in nature, with a rich and complex nose that encourages further exploration.

The whisky builds beautifully across the palate, delivering fruity and spicy Mizunara character, complemented by a gentle touch of Lark’s own peat smoke from its highland peat moor. The result is a warming sensation that lifts and rolls across the palate, finishing with a luscious, enduring length that invites another dram.
