Suntory Holdings Limited founder Shinjiro Torii dreamed of creating original Japanese spirits that could be enjoyed around the world, crafted in harmony with Japan’s nature and people. That vision, carried forward for more than a century of distilling heritage, is reflected in Roku Gin.

Roku means “six” in Japanese, representing the six signature Japanese botanicals used in its production: cherry blossom, cherry leaf, green tea (sencha), premium gyokuro tea, sanshō pepper and yuzu. These are combined with eight traditional gin botanicals to create a complex yet harmonious spirit.

The gin has a smooth, slightly oily texture that coats the palate elegantly. Delicate cherry blossom character appears briefly on the tongue before giving way to deeper tea and subtle tannic notes. It is especially well suited to dishes such as smoked salmon or the classic cucumber sandwich.
