Known as “the fresh Japanese whisky,” Hakushu is an herbal and gently smoky single malt from Suntory’s Mt Kaikomagatake distillery. Thanks to a mountain microclimate of lush forests and water filtered by rain and snow through ancient granite rock, the malt whiskies produced here are blessed with rare softness and purity.
Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve serves as an introduction to the brand. Respecting Hakushu’s heritage and signature character, it combines lightly peated malt whiskies with aged American white oak cask malt whiskies to enhance its refreshing, crisp qualities. Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve is a whisky that is smooth in its complex nuances and as vibrant as a fresh green leaf.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
