Sasanokawa Shuzo Co. Ltd. was founded in 1765 and began producing whisky in 1946. Yamazakura Black Label is a ji whisky crafted by Sasanokawa Shuzo. This particular Black Label expression was introduced in 2015 as part of the Yamazakura range.
It offers a smooth, refreshing finish with a gentle hint of sweetness. Equally enjoyable neat or served over ice, it remains rarely seen outside Japan. The profile is lightly spicy, complemented by a subtle touch of sweetness.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
