Flor de Caña celebrates 130 years and five generations of family heritage since its founding in 1890. To mark this milestone, a 30-year-old single barrel rum distilled in 1988 has been released.
Subtitled V Generaciones, this is the company’s oldest rum to date, matured exclusively in a single ex-Bourbon barrel. Only a limited number of bottles are available worldwide, with each bottle individually numbered and bearing the signatures of the five generations of the family behind the brand.
The presentation is distinguished by a bottle cap crafted from volcanic rock and a replica of the iconic 1902 volcano postal stamp of Nicaragua. Each bottle also features a metallic label and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
