Imparted with the essence of pâtisserie Jean Pascal Patisserie’s fruit mince pies and finished in red wine barrels from Frogmore Creek Winery, the Lark Christmas Cask 2022 is filled with comforting notes of gingerbread, traditional Christmas spices and fruit, layered with vanilla custard over a rich plum pudding character.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Vanilla custard flows through brown sugar baked apples, supported by classic Christmas spices of clove, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Palate
Generous layers of buttery toffee sauce over comforting plum pudding, with freshly baked gingerbread emerging on the palate.
Finish
Long, rich and warmly heartening.
