Nikka Single Malt Yoichi Whisky 700ml

This is a single malt whisky from Yoichi Distillery, the first distillery built by Nikka Whisky in 1934. The founder, Masataka Taketsuru, selected Yoichi in Hokkaido because its environmental conditions closely resemble those of Scotland, where he studied the art of whisky making.

Yoichi single malt offers pleasant peaty notes and gentle smokiness, developed through traditional direct coal fired distillation. During maturation, the coastal sea breeze imparts a subtle briny character, adding depth and complexity to the whisky’s profile.
