Nikka Whisky Tailored Premium Japanese Whisky was released in 2019 as the long awaited replacement for the Nikka 12 Year Old. This whisky has been crafted to an exceptionally high standard.

The nose is lively and fruity, with malty aromas of vanilla, caramel, cookies and biscuits. On the palate, the whisky is sweet yet built on a firm malt foundation, supported by the gentle sweetness of Coffey grain whisky. The finish is lingering, with a subtle spicy bitterness.

In 1918, a young Japanese man travelled alone to Scotland with the ambition of mastering the art of genuine whisky making. That man was Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky and the first Japanese craftsman to study and perfect whisky production in Scotland.
