In collaboration with renowned pastry chef Jordi Roca of the three Michelin star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, this release brings the worlds of chocolate and whisky together. For the first limited edition in a new annual series, The Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan undertook a unique journey to Girona, Spain, immersing herself in the art of chocolate, exploring the chocolate-making process and discovering the distinctive flavour profiles at Casa Cacao.
Polly worked closely with Jordi Roca, owner of the celebrated chocolate boutique and hotel Casa Cacao, and the youngest of the acclaimed Roca brothers. She also spent time with the master chocolatier of Casa Cacao, Damien Allsop, as part of this exploration.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
