A blended whisky from Japan’s Yamazakura range, produced by the Japanese company Sasanokawa Shuzo. The name is a portmanteau of two Japanese words: ‘Yama’, meaning mountain, and ‘Sakura’, meaning cherry tree.
On the nose, it offers delicate orange blossom with subtle hints of earthy oak. The palate reveals fresh orchard fruits, salted-caramel-coated biscuit and greengages.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
