Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve is the only blended Scotch whisky crafted using a triple maturation process. In this method, the grain whiskies and malt whiskies are matured separately in American bourbon casks, then blended together and matured once more in Oloroso sherry butts for an extended period. This additional maturation imparts a distinctive flavour and a delicate finish to the blend.
