Native to China, Tibet and Japan, yuzu is a citrus fruit known for its remarkable aroma, combining characteristics of lemon, mandarin, kumquat and grapefruit.
We first experimented with yuzu when creating Pure Kisumé Gin in 2017, followed by Changing Seasons Gin in 2019. Then, in early 2020, fortune intervened when a shipment of fresh, perfectly ripe yuzu grown nearby in the Ovens Valley arrived at our doorstep. It was clear that yuzu was meant to be part of our story.
Later in 2020, we released our most distinctly yuzu-forward expression under the banner of the limited edition Rarer Dry Gin.
Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 it is an offence: For liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years. Penalty: fine not exceeding 20 penalty units. For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Penalty: fine not exceeding 10 penalty units
