Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 700ml

Produced from a mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley, this expression uses Four Roses Bourbon yeast strain “V”, which is described as delicately fruity, spicy and creamy. The distillery is unique in using five different yeast strains to create ten distinct whiskies.

The age of the Single Barrel expression may vary, though it is generally understood that the whisky is aged for a minimum of seven years. Each barrel is bottled only when the whisky is judged to have reached its peak maturity, with approximately 180 bottles produced per barrel.

Every release is individually marked with a warehouse and barrel number, which may change without prior notice. Part of the appeal of the single barrel concept is that no two barrels produce identical flavour profiles, allowing enthusiasts to compare whiskies from different barrels and maturation locations.
