Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, The Original, is the expression that started it all. This inaugural release is a fresh and fruity single malt, crafted using the finest concerto malted barley and pure Scottish water from Loch Katrine.

A minimum of 72 hours of fermentation, combined with an exceptionally slow distillation, creates a fruity and delicately sweet new make spirit. It is then matured in first fill ex bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period in virgin American oak barrels.

Bottled at 46 percent ABV, non chill filtered and natural in colour, The Original is a true representation of the whisky produced at The Glasgow Distillery, reflecting its production philosophy and dedication to quality.
