Replicating traditional solera methods, only a portion of this release has been bottled, allowing the continuation of fractional blending over time while respecting both traditional solera systems and the pursuit of consistent quality across batches. This approach supports the long term preservation of character in each subsequent release.

The Lark Solera Release Single Malt Whisky presents a nose dominated by dates, raisins, rich red fruit and toffee apple, accompanied by gentle melon, vanilla and subtle tobacco aromas.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dates, raisins and rich red fruit are balanced by toffee apple sweetness, light melon, vanilla and soft tobacco.

Palate: Rich and chewy in texture, with flavours of jam, pastry, subtle leather and warming pantry spices. This syrupy, full bodied whisky coats the palate with a harmonious balance of savoury and sweet notes, revealing wine gum, honeycomb, dark chocolate and marmalade character.

Finish: Medium long, savoury and lingering, with chocolate orange, fruit and a gently drying conclusion.
