Nikka Black Deep Blend Japanese Whisky 700ml

If there is one popular series of Japanese whiskies, it is the Black series from Nikka Whisky.

Black Nikka was launched in 1965 as Nikka’s premium blended whisky. The Nikka Black Deep Blend uses malt whisky aged in new oak barrels together with Café grain malts. This expression is quite different from the standard Black Nikka, offering a smoother and more elegant profile with floral notes, light oak character and gentle vanilla sweetness.

In 1918, a young Japanese man travelled alone to Scotland to uncover the secrets of whisky making. That man was Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky. His journey made him the first Japanese person to master the art of whisky production after studying in Scotland.
