Redbreast 15 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey 700ml

The entrancing bouquet is spicy and creamy, yet wonderfully fresh all at once. One of the most textural and voluptuous Irish whiskeys we have tasted, it opens oily and pithy, moving towards richer cocoa notes on the finish, with a cascade of confectionery character suggested, from dark chocolate to vanilla wafer and toasted marshmallow.

The oak provides a balancing grip, while the remarkable persistence allows the oils to sustain a long and satisfying aftertaste. It is equally rewarding when savoured with a drop of water, which reveals another dimension, highlighting fruits on the nose, including fig and orange oil, as well as on the palate.

Almost like two whiskeys in one. Superb. Non chill filtered.
